The Winstanley Centre is Fully Let

Bargain Booze is the latest global brand to take retail space at The Winstanley Centre, which is owned and managed by The Hollins Murray Group (HMG). The addition of Bargain Booze makes the shopping centre fully let.

Bargain Booze owned by Conviviality are UK’s largest franchised off-licence stores and are the third big brand to be attracted to the shopping centre in recent months following the opening of Coral and Debra.

Julie Burns commented: “I’m delighted to be opening my second store at the centre which has seen significant investment by HMG over the past 12 months. The Centre has the right kind of connection with the local community.”

She continued: “The retail unit is light and bright and I’m looking forward to welcoming customers to the store”.

James Lutton from Legat Owen comments:- “Since HMG acquired Winstanley Shopping Centre in 2012 we have seen the scheme transform from a small run down local precinct into a bright modern centre which has established itself as the main convenience destination in Winstanley.

Following the relocation of the Co-Op to the new store and letting to Heron Foods, they give a totally different proposition to the remaining units and we received significant amount of interest before concluding deals with Bargain Booze and Coral. “

Vicki Cook, Senior Surveyor at HMG commented: ”Bargain Booze is a great addition to the shopping centre which provides customers with a varied mix of retailers from a supermarket to café. We wish Julie and her team every success in this new venture”.
