Our Team

Bruce is 48 years old and a Chartered Accountant. He began his career working at KPMG, followed by a spell in corporate finance and more latterly was CFO and part owner in a food manufacturing business which he sold in 2019 and fully exited in 2022.

Bruce took up the role of Chairman at HMG in 2023.

Nick spent two years in investment at Lambert Smith Hampton and five years at Lewis Ellis, the niche investment boutique, before setting up Matrix Property Investment as a joint venture with HMG in 2001. Following the acquisition of Matrix by HMG in 2006, Nick was appointed to HMG’s board and became Chief Executive in 2009.

Since qualifying as a chartered surveyor in 2003, Ted has worked exclusively within the property investment market. Advising a range of clients from high net worth individuals through to institutions, he currently specialises in brokerage as a partner at the boutique investment practice, King Street Commercial.

Charles has many years of experience in the North West commercial property market having worked for both Lambert Smith Hampton and J Trevor Webster before setting up Regional Property Solutions, based in Altrincham, in 1999.

Carol is a Chartered Accountant, having qualified with Grant Thornton in 2002.  Prior to joining HMG in January 2015, Carol held a variety of finance positions at Timpson, McCann Manchester and Kelloggs.

Vicki joined HMG in 2015 after several years working at Magnus, WHR and Lambert Smith Hampton, dealing with all aspects of office agency, management and development across the North West.

At HMG Vicki has a wide ranging remit including helping to secure new occupiers for vacant properties, dealing with service charge efficiency, marketing and asset management.

Liz Aboud joined property investment company Hollins Murray Group as Head of Legal in November 2016. Liz was formerly a partner for many years at Gateley Plc and previously Halliwells in Manchester city centre.

Paul joined HMG in 2016 after several years at Magnus and The Co-operative Group.  He has held a number of property management positions however his core role is leading the facilities/estates management team and dealing with customers on a day to day basis.

Josh is a chartered surveyor who spent 12 months at Manchester based developer Capital & Centric and 5 years at North West retail / leisure property experts Cheetham & Mortimer before joining Hollins Murray Group in June 2019.

Josh assists in several property duties including running of the existing portfolio, maximising asset values, lease structuring and managing the voids within the portfolio.

Denise is the longest serving member of our office staff and has been with the company since 2006, providing invaluable and varied administrative support to the entire team.

She deals with the internal procurement procedures for the business and day to day office operations. Denise also manages the requirements of the external staff for HMG ensuring smooth liaison with our internal team.

Emma is the Office Manager and essentially ensures the smooth running of the HMG office on a day to day basis.  Emma provides valuable support to the whole team and her remit ranges from organising meetings, implementing and maintaining our office procedures to managing databases and administrative systems.

Karen joined the Team in 2022, having already worked within the property sector.

She deals with the the day to day running of the tenant rents, tenant liaison, daily banking and a vast array of accounting procedures within her role.
